First Arts is pleased to announce our April 2025 online auction of Inuit & First Nations Art, closing Thursday, April 24th at 2:00 PM ET.

We are delighted to announce our upcoming April 2025 online auction, showcasing a dynamic selection of works. Highlights include two exceptional canvases by Norval Morrisseau, as well as vibrant prints and drawings by celebrated artists such as Shuvinai Ashoona, Kenojuak Ashevak, and Kananginak Pootoogook. The sale also features a strong group of whale bone carvings, evocative of the late 1960s–70s, when the medium flourished in the Canadian Arctic. Among the standout works are a finely carved model totem pole by Paul Jones, circa 1900, and an expressive Lightning Serpent Dance Mask by a once-known Nuu-chah-nulth artist.

SEEKING CONSIGNMENTS

Following our December 2, 2024 sale of Inuit & First Nations Art, First Arts is now accepting consignments for our upcoming program of auctions and exhibitions. Interested parties should contact us to arrange for a complimentary and private valuation and to discuss the advantages of buying and selling with First Arts.

The deadline for consignments is Friday 7 March 2025.
