Carved in dark green stone with a rich polish, this Seated Carver invites reflection on the act of creation itself. The figure, rasp in hand, appears absorbed in shaping a form that echoes the very sculpture we behold. Its compact weight and refined planes convey a sense of concentration and craft, while the delicately rendered antler rasp draws attention to the recursive dialogue between maker and made.
