Didactic text reads, "'We would often camp at Natsalik, a place about a week's journey from Cape Dorset, near many lakes. It had the most beautiful drinking water, the most beautiful water I have ever found. We often went to Natsalik to hunt fish; and at Natsalik, too, there were many geese.' (Pitseolak in Eber, 1971: [36, 28]). The word netsilik means 'with seals.' Fresh water is found in a number of Arctic inland lakes.
