In Caribou Under Attack, the artist transforms a moment of violence into something almost balletic. The soft stencil technique blurs the edges slightly, lending a dreamlike quality to the action. The caribou, rearing up on hind legs, appears to float rather than flail, while the wolves on either side are caught mid-leap in elegant arcs. Despite the subject, there’s a remarkable sense of rhythm and grace.
