This work arranges two figures in mirrored positions, both leaning inward toward the centre where a traditional bow drill is depicted in use. This tool becomes the focal point, drawing the viewer’s attention to the act of drilling through bone. The stencil application creates a soft, gossamer surface, its gentle tonal shifts and delicate edges forming an interesting contrast with the arduous physicality of drilling through bone.
