As with "Dancing Ravens," the colouration of "Owls Enveloped," is one that recalls the earthly and the elemental, again savoured in ink by Qavavau. Here, the undulating necks of the curious birds in the background seem to pulse as they extend in all directions from the centre. Like its counterpart, colour and design pleasantly integrate to create the impression of a measured spontaneity.
