In a display of limbs and blocked colour, Rivals from Two Tribes has some of the immediate hallmarks of a work by Jessie Oonark. The figure on the right smiles, possibly in anticipation of victory, while the other bares their teeth, possibly in frustration at the proceedings. The entire story of this work being centered on the two figures with no others surrounding it gives the sense that it is a sample of one of Oonark's works, perhaps even a study.
