With their long, graceful necks serving as canvas for the feather details that mark their species, and slim bodies usually gliding along unseen water, Pudlo Pudlat's loons have a recognizable charm to them. In Alerted Loons, that recognition is challenged a bit. The deep ombre of green tones give the loons a look of swaying grass, while the action of the entire flock's attention being taken to an unseen thing behind them gives the illusion of a family of meerkats, alert to their surroundings.
