This vibrant serigraph print, titled Thunder Spirit, stands out for its rich use of colour and iconic symbolism. The divided circles are often seen in Morrisseau's works, embodying duality and balance within the natural world. The bright colours are not just visually arresting, they evoke a sense of joy and spiritual vitality that is characteristic of Morrisseau's works of this period across all mediums.

Thunder Spirit
came to fruition through the skilled hands of the Triple K Cooperative, founded by Norval Morrisseau's former brothers-in-law, the Kakegamic brothers — Joshim and Henry, Established in 1973 in Red Lake, Ontario, the cooperative brought Morrisseau's visions to life, printing from drawings he meticulously designed for the silkscreen process and applying colours handpicked by the artist himself. Other contributors were artists like Jackson Beardy, Carl Ray, and, of course, Goyce Kakegamic, who was a talented artist in his own right, the middle Kakegamic brother, and third "K" in "Triple K" Cooperative.
