Personalizing the stylistic elements of the works of Norval Morrisseau, Saul Williams employs lyrical lines and draughtsmanship to create the delightful image of a mother bird reprimanding her young chick.  The short strokes around her heart suggest an elevated rate and the lines surrounding her beak imply that the little one is getting a firm tongue lashing.
