In Iqalutsiavak (Beautiful Fish), the sense of movement is striking, with the mastery of form fully realized. The fish appears to swim sinuously down the sheet, its fins and ovate fronds twisting and turning to match the fluid motion.

In 2004, Kenojuak was commissioned to create a stained glass decoration for the John Bell Chapel at Appleby College in Oakville, Ontario. The same contorting fish seen in the present print can also be found in the lower register of The Iggaalaaq (Where the Light Shines Through) Window.
