William Noah was the youngest of Jessie Oonark’s children and, like his other talented siblings, carved out his own distinctive career as an artist — specifically as a gifted printmaker and graphic artist. Whereas Noah's most famous images depict shamans, he was also a gifted naturalist as well. We love his sensitive depiction of the Arctic landscape where the only trace of humankind is the small inukshuk cairn in the foreground.
