This exuberant composition captures three bears mid-play, tumbling in a dynamic stack of movement and balance. Two bears stand upright, teetering joyfully on the upturned paws of a third, whose rounded back anchors the scene. The high polish of the stone brings out the rich green tones of the material, enhancing the over all composition. Tiny inlaid black elements define the eyes and claws, adding contrast and expression. Both animated and harmonious, the work radiates humour, charm, and remarkable technical control.
