Virtually palm sized, this snowhouse is built from faux-faceted blocks that catch light along crisp incisions in a single stone. The tunnel projects with blunt geometry, anchoring the compact dome. An antler sign reading “FOR SALE” punctures the stone silhouette and introduces dry wit. Humour runs through much Inuit art, and Indigenous art more broadly. It lightens solemnity, signals resilience, and draws the viewer in through playful understatement.
