This print, a deceptively simple rendering of a tea kettle suspended above a qulliq in a traditional camp, functions like a Northern genre painting, like a Vermeer of the tent. It captures not action, but pause. The calm geometry of the tripod and stove gives shape to a moment of interiority: a space where stories are passed, gossip is shared, and silence itself becomes communal.
