Although he was Coast Salish, Tom Eneas worked in a more Northern style influenced by Nisga'a and Tsimshian art. He rarely painted his masks, instead placing the emphasis on his sculpture and the wood grain itself. This Raven/Moon Mask features a humanoid Moon face surrounded by an incised Raven design in its corona. Incredibly, the mask is all carved out of one piece of wood with added copper and operculum inlays.
