This charming ivory caribou is captured mid-stride, its elongated body and delicately articulated legs conveying an appealing sense of movement. Particularly delightful are the fanciful, intricately carved antlers, whose exaggerated forms lend the animal a playful character. Small baleen inlays provide lively accents to the otherwise smoothly modelled figure.
