This bust is carved with crisp edges and a burnished sheen that catches the light as you turn it, so the face seems to change with each angle. Cheeks and brow are modelled with simple, confident planes and the features are set with clarity rather than fuss. The eyes anchor the form, while the mouth and nose create a rhythm across the front, making the whole feel unmistakably portrait-like.
