The composition is anchored by the singular caribou element—its hoof—whose distinctive shape offers a fractional glimpse into a moment of transformation. This unconventional approach departs from traditional imagery, which often blends human and animal features more fully. Instead, the artist focuses on the subtlety of suggestion, creating a dynamic tension between the abstract and the figurative. The partial incorporation of the caribou element invites the viewer to contemplate the fleeting, liminal space of transformation, where the boundaries between human and animal, natural and supernatural, remain fluid and unresolved.
