The lovely jade green serpentine base of this piece would suggest that it hails from Cape Dorset where this stone was being quarried in the late 1960s. The rich hue...The lovely jade green serpentine base of this piece would suggest that it hails from Cape Dorset where this stone was being quarried in the late 1960s. The rich hue of the stone serves as a perfect contrast to the crème coloured antler fox perched atop. We love how the fox has its head slightly cocked as if sensing approaching danger.Provenance
