Here, the avian form glows from pale lemon into sharp neon tones, popping vibrantly against a mottled grey background that appears like worn stone. Its outline is broad and fluid, making it easy for the eye to follow, while the ground behind it is busy with flecks and texture. This push and pull makes the bird feel both at home in its space and set apart from it, as if it is moving through static and staying visible on purpose.
