Employing his intimate knowledge of hunting, and, perhaps, his own personal narrative, in Three Bear Hunters, Kiakshuk presents a riveting and slightly comical scene. Here, three men approach a rather ferocious and sawtoothed polar bear. The pose of each figure along downward zig-zagging line is more unstable than the last, with the Inuk at the bottom of the sheet pictured running, terror-struck, in the opposite direction.
