The collection paid tribute to the first generation of Dorset draughtsman, including Kenojuak Ashevak.In the work, Kenojuak offers a radiant, almost ecstatic vision of interconnectedness. The earth mother's outstretched limbs morph into animals and organic frond-like forms, blurring boundaries between human and environment, body and spirit. The symmetrical composition radiates outward from a smiling face, anchoring the fevered scene in pure joy.
