    with is finely carved and expansive wings, illustrates why Kavavow King was one of six artists chosen in 1987 to attend a week long jewellery making seminar in August 1987. The scalloped edges of the bird's wings are carved so thin in spots that the stone appears iridescent and almost translucent.
