Tim Boyko was born in 1960 in Skidegate, Haida Gwaii. He enrolled in the early training programs offered by Morris White and Alfie Collinson to encourage new artists. He continues...Tim Boyko was born in 1960 in Skidegate, Haida Gwaii. He enrolled in the early training programs offered by Morris White and Alfie Collinson to encourage new artists. He continues to work in argillite and jewellery. He was chosen as one of 10 Haida artists to produce a totem pole for the private collection of English artist Damien Hirst. He was also one of four artists commissioned to carve the Healing Pole for the Haida Heritage Centre at Kay Llnagaay in Skidegate.
