While Luke Anowtalik may not have originated the depiction of antler swivelling acrobats, there's no doubt that he is responsible for bringing it into prominence. It is documented that he was producing strikingly similar creations as far back as 1971-72  and he continued to craft them, in various sizes, nearly up until his death in 2006.
