Stylistically minimal, the lack of surface detail allows the opulent white and subtle grey veins of the stone to unify the composition. Joanassie Igiu and his partner, Kenjouak Ashevak shared some artistic traits, seen here in the stylized feet, the open beak and the eyes but Igiu has given this Owl a unique personality!Provenance
