In this work, Roger's meticulous craftsmanship is evident in the finely modelled face and body, with even his fingerprints still visible as he sensitively shaped the wet clay. The female figure's wild, untamed hair flows across the vase, both as part of the form and as an added element, giving the impression that she is bursting forth from the confines of the pot, reaching into our space.Provenance
