Indeed, when one thinks of Pudlo, two...Despite living his entire life on Baffin Island where nary a muskox was to be found, Pudlo adopted the animal as his own. Indeed, when one thinks of Pudlo, two subjects spring to mind, aeroplanes and muskoxen, and both are repeatedly presented as larger than life. The aeroplane is presented as birdlike with wings that almost seem to flap and the muskox afforded an almost elephantine presence. We love how Pudlo has presented this procession of muskoxen seemingly watched over and protected by their leader.
