This trio of miniature works, two lidded baskets and a rain hat have all the hallmarks of the skilled and patient hand that likely also made other work of a slightly more practical size. These works still showcase scene work like whale hunting, and repeat patterns themed in avian and marine mammal, on a scale that demands the rightful respect for the execution. Regardless of either being made as a model of larger works that could be commissioned, or just as a miniature variation to provide more economical purchase opportunities, these works would be a charming addition to any collection.
