Growing up, carving remained a primary form of expression for Skye, and...Wayne Skye (Sky) is a self taught artist that began carving as a hobby at 13 years old. Growing up, carving remained a primary form of expression for Skye, and in 1980 he began working full time as an artist. Inspired by nature, both in subject matter and the material provided, carving primarily in stone and bone. Skye’s Fearsome Eagle gracefully follows the curves of the antler it’s been created from while still being loud and powerful.Provenance
