The polished stone face captures an earthy...This work juxtaposes the lush, variegated greens of the stone with the pale, matte antler, creating a dynamic interplay between colour and texture. The polished stone face captures an earthy depth, its swirls of green and ochre mimicking natural landscapes, while the antler, smooth and porous, offers an ethereal lightness. The antler's placement, flanking the head like ears, suggests that, perhaps, the spirits are whispering to the man. Alternatively, the antler's flowing curves evoke the northern lights, swirling around the steadfast face and in the night sky.
