Here, that sensibility is refracted through a semi-abstract lens. The composition forms a loose triangle, with the mother’s large, centrally placed head rising at the apex, a stabilizing force in the swirl below. Her upward gaze suggests a search for clarity...or maybe just a moment’s peace! Meanwhile, the children seem delightfully indifferent to such stillness, bursting outward in all directions. The result is a work alive with movement, tension, and maternal gravity.
