The fluid composition draws the eye inward, tracing the gentle curve of the mother’s body as it folds protectively around the two infants she cradles. Her form is rounded, grounded, and complete—there is a sense of totality to the shape, as if the world begins and ends within the circle of her embrace. Her face is serene, with downcast eyes and softly carved features that convey tenderness rather than idealization. Her hands are large and deliberate, emphasizing the deep sense of safety her embrace provides.
