Akuarmittuq (Pregnant Owl) is a gentler presentation than some, a slightly rotund seated owl in profile, beak slightly ajar. Minimal in detail, this work features a more simplified owl that is a delightful and subtle colour study of blues. There are hints of feathers sprinkled across her head and back, their visual punch coupled by that of a keen pair of orange eyes.Provenance
