In this etching and aquatint by Meelia Kelly, composition becomes a kind of choreography. Caribou twist and float in an almost spiral formation that draws the eye inward, their bodies caught in various states of motion or repose. The rhythmic arrangement gives the impression of a dream or memory suspended in space. There is no central figure of dominance. Instead, energy flows from one form to the next, creating a vibrant visual pulse.
