Their...This drawing by Iyola Kingwatsiak is a duet. Two fish, rendered in coloured pencil so soft it almost gleams, rise toward one another in a moment of mirrored stillness. Their symmetry is so precise it feels choreographed, like the pause at the peak of a dance. One leans into green, the other lilac, both blushed on the belly with the same inner light. The fin work is delicate but deliberate, each line textured with care. The composition balances restraint with lyricism, letting repetition do the emotional heavy lifting.
