The sculpture curves in on itself, both literally and thematically. Two faces emerge from either end of a sweeping arch, their expressions calm and introspective, as though contemplating each other through the loop of shared memory. Between them, a small seated figure in a kayak glides forward, nested beneath the larger form as if carried by thought. The stone is a soft, mottled green, veined with subtle streaks of cream and brown, giving the piece a dreamlike patina. Its surfaces shift from smooth planes to delicately incised features, inviting touch and reflection. The overall composition moves in a circular rhythm, drawing the eye in and around, like a story being retold by two minds at once.
