Clyde River produced fewer than 100 images, beginning with a few consecutive annual collections in the early 1980s and followed by revival attempts in the late 1990s. In hindsight, it is unfortunate that the Clyde River prints did not enjoy a greater reception in the southern market, as many excellent images remain virtually unknown to most collectors. This memorable image captures the myriad activities of traditional camp life in a manner that feels both frenzied and harmonious.Provenance
