The layered arrangement evokes collage, as if pieces of regalia move about in dance as a restless whole. At the centre, a partially obscured five-dollar bill further disrupts the visual field. The result is a composition that emphasizes rhythm and rupture, presenting the robe not as a static garment but as a constellation of living form.Clarissa Rizal described this work on her website as a “multi-media collage with faux pas [sic] painted frame” [1]. It was included in her first solo exhibition at Stonington Gallery in Seattle.
