Portrayed partially face-on here, the Dogfish is distinguished by a high, domed head with distinctive gills and triangular teeth. The multiple staggered fins are splayed out around a tilted tail, and slim crescent moon pupils pop throughout the body, either as otherworldly eyes or bubbles.Provenance
Collection of John and Joyce Price, Seattle.
