Its wings extend broadly to either side, each feather carefully...Proud Young Owl is built around a strikingly symmetrical composition that amplifies the bird’s upright stance and sense of presence. Its wings extend broadly to either side, each feather carefully delineated in parallel arcs that radiate outward like banners, giving the figure a commanding span. The owl’s head is lifted, its open beak and forward gaze contributing to the impression of youthful confidence. Colour enhances this effect: deep black fills the body and wings, while red accents at the feather tips and tongue punctuate the form with vibrancy. Yellow talons anchor the figure against the white ground, underscoring its poised, self-assured bearing.
