Motion radiates through every feather in Keegavik. The bird bends forward, talons extended, as though ready to strike or lift into the air. Its wings unfurl in sweeping arcs, layered with intricate markings cut by printmaker Timothy Ottochie with precision so that they flutter with rhythm across their expanse. These lines are inked in black and teal, alternating to create depth and shimmer, giving the impression of feathers shifting as light catches them. The owl’s large, watchful eyes heighten the sense of imminent action. Wonderful.
