While Toonoo’s birds lean toward abstraction, Napachie captures movement with realism. Here, the bird begins to unfurl its wings. Light skims the surface like water, revealing deep green shot through with warm gold. The creature feels full and alive, its feathers crisply scored, catching brightness at every ridge as it holds its weight on broad feet while the wings lift, ready for air.Provenance
