Made from the denser stone that can be found around Puvirnituq, this Watchful Bird features some of Isah Qumalu Sivuarapi’s carefully rendered details. Simple but refined lines give way to wings and talons, all while perched on a rocky crag. As a skilled caver, Isah was a founding member of the Povungnituk Sculptors Society, which later became the Co-operative Association of Povungnituk (now Puvirnituq).
