Building on the style and legacy of his father, Nooveya (Nuveya) Ipellie, Seepee Ipellie reveals a mastery of rounded strength and intricate surface detail. In this muskox carved from deep green stone, he captures the animal’s power and poise, giving weight to its form while allowing it to feel fluid and alive.

The sculpture invites touch and attention. Inset eyes gleam with lifelike focus, pulling the viewer into a steady wide-eyed gaze. Smooth bone horns sweep outward in elegant arcs, showcasing Ipellie’s precision and control. The contrast between the glossy upper plane and the textured lower surface conjures the feel of thick fur to protect from the cold wind.
