The snow house sits centred and bright, while dogs form a loose ring around it, their mouths open as if sound is pushing outward. A crescent moon and scattered stars punctuate the dark sky, giving our eye places to land. To the left, a pole lifts a cluster of whirling objects, their splayed lines suggesting wind and motion. Even the small hare seems to add its voice. How amazing is it that noise can live inside two dimensional art, and that Pudlat shows us exactly how.
