His body is stretched into a long, low curve, while it maintains muscularity. From the compact head, the eye follows the back as it lifts gently at the shoulders, then settles and narrows into a tail that ends with intention, not ornament. The legs are reduced to compact supports and its head and tail stay close to the ground, slightly angled, which keeps the entire composition forward-leaning and attentive. Smooth planes carry light across the surface, and that soft sheen makes the animal feel slick, as if it has just come up from water.
