    Balanced on a slender peg, this creature hovers above a base that lifts it into view, so our attention settles on pure form. Its streamlined body narrows into a tail, suggesting a figure gliding through water. The narrow mouth, edged with serrated teeth, sharpens the prow and gives the whole silhouette momentum, as if it is pushing forward and parting an invisible current.
