Vivid blues, glowing reds, and soft pinks pulse with energy, reflecting his mid-1970s embrace of Eckankar and his belief in colour as a conduit for healing. By the 1980s his compositions grew bolder and more distilled, their strength lying in balance and connection. The black contours glide with certainty, shaping figures that feel alive with motion and meaning. Through this image of the "life cycle," Morrisseau returns to one of his recurrent themes, the unbroken flow between spirit, nature, and creation.Provenance
Gift of the artist to the wife of the present Private Collection, Ontario.
